In order to safeguard the safety it is of great importance that you are in possession of STCW 78/95/2010 certificates.
In case you want to attend a training at POSEIDON, you will know for
sure that you have obtained the correct (STCW) certificates.

their knowledge of the procedures and the techniques in a very

POSEIDON Maritime Centre, has been
issuing internationally accepted certificates after successful
training, though does not bear responsibility for individuals to be
accepted and admitted for particular work position, as this may vary
from or lack some of the international offer, conditions required or
the professional skills and attitude of individuals.

Only Crowd Management training: For those requesting a CROWD Management only please be advised that the 2010 MANILA STCW Convention has separated this certificate into two: 1./ Crowd Management (passenger safety and training.....) and 2./ Crisis. (management and human behaviour....) For this reason we need to provide two trainings ad issue two certificates. Price: 200 EUR. The courses contain IMO Model Course 1.28 and 1.29.

During the three long days' courses all subjects are taught mixed and can not be made separately - except Proficiency in Security Awareness, which is a new one - because the schedule and
syllabus of the courses are not separated.

The Hungarian "POSEIDON" Maritime Training Centre has
been the only one training centre recognized internationally by IMO as
well as by Hungarian Shipping Authority, supposed for internationally
recognized training of seafarers and personnel employed on passanger
and cargoships. The trainings have been continuously monitored by the
international authorities.
Seated
in London; it’s been the monitoring organization IMO
(International Maritime Organization) that takes the centre’s
activitie in preparing the personnel into consideration and supervises
from time to time. Each traning is being done according to
international regulations and it has been inspected also by the
Department of Aeronautics, Naval Architecture and Railway Vehicles at
the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Our training centre is also recognized and approved by the Authority for Specialistic Adult Education. The
activities and the equipment of the training centre has been inspected
and approved by the European Union‘ s Agency for the European
Maritime Safety, the report of whom has been published on our web site.
The Maritime Training center’s director, Mr. Makk Gusztáv,
used to work as seafarer since 1961, and after successful
administration of exams he has been working in the highest possible
position as Unlimited Chief Engineer. After 22 years of seafarer work
experience he continues by nearly 30 years of experience with preparing
and training of professional seafarers. Also the rest of our lecturers
are captains, engineers, maritime lawyers, doctors, wireless operators,
all of them being recognized by and possessing IMO or Hungarian
Shipping Authority’s international lecturing licence or
authorization. Due to this above mentioned, and also to the frequent
participants from abroad, including the Hungarian citizens being
together in one group (taking into consideration the compulsory English
language training movies, the training itself is generally held in
English language.
